In the Five of Wands five men appear to be fighting. They each hold a wand and are using them as weapons. This looks more like a mock battle than a real fight.
When the Five of Wands turns up in a reading the querent can be sure that there are battles ahead. They may come in the form of competition - struggling for a position in the hierarchy at work or at home. The querent should examine his or her motives in any struggle of this nature. Sometimes it is better to try to come to a mutually agreeable compromise rather than keep fighting.
