The Four of Wands shows four sprouting wands standing in two pairs. Garlands are strung between them. In the middle distance there are two women wearing garlands on their heads and waving bunches of flowers. To the left there is a small group of people. In the background there is a manor house and the bridge over the moat is clearly visible.
When the Four of Wands appears in a reading the querent should feel a frisson of excitement. This card signifies celebration and the triumph of a successfully brought-in harvest. The querent can expect an exciting invitation or some involvement in a group activity. When the call comes the querent should be prepared to cast off any inhibitions and immerse themselves in the joy of the occasion. The liberation from doubt and self-consciousness enables a person to grow and progress in life. The Four of Wands encourages the querent to do this.
